Important: This action is permanent
Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data from Cerbite, including meeting recordings, transcripts, notes, templates, and AI chat history. This action cannot be undone.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
Account Information
Your email, name, profile picture, and authentication credentials
Meeting Data
All meeting recordings, transcripts, summaries, and action items
Notes and Templates
Custom templates, notes, and any user-created content
AI Chat History
All conversations with the AI assistant about your meetings
Usage Analytics
Your app usage data, preferences, and settings
Billing Information
Payment history and subscription details (processed by Stripe)
How to Request Account Deletion
You can delete your account using any of the following methods:
Delete from the Cerbite App
- Open the Cerbite app on your device
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon in the bottom navigation)
- Scroll down to Account section
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your identity by entering your password or using biometric authentication
- Tap Permanently Delete to confirm
Request via Email
Send an email to support@ai-invest.vc with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your Cerbite account
- Your full name as registered on the account
- A statement confirming you want to permanently delete your account and data
Request via Phone
Call us at +1 (302) 244-7142 Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM ET. Be prepared to verify your identity by confirming the email address and phone number associated with your account.
Deletion Timeline
Request Received
ImmediateYou will receive an email confirming we have received your deletion request.
Verification Period
Up to 48 hoursWe verify your identity to prevent unauthorized account deletions.
Data Deletion
Within 30 daysAll your data is permanently deleted from our primary systems.
Confirmation
After deletionYou will receive a final confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Data Retention Notice
After account deletion, certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records: Payment and billing records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting compliance.
- Legal compliance: Data may be retained if required by court order, subpoena, or other legal obligations.
- Backup systems: Data in encrypted backup systems will be automatically purged within 90 days.
- Anonymized data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.
Alternatives to Account Deletion
Before deleting your account, consider these alternatives:
Downgrade to Free
Cancel your Pro subscription and switch to the free plan. Your data remains accessible with limited features.
Export Your Data
Download all your meeting notes and transcripts before deletion. Go to Settings and Data Export.
Pause Your Account
Contact support to temporarily deactivate your account while keeping your data safe.
Delete Specific Data
Remove individual meetings or notes from the app without deleting your entire account.
